Chilled water is our main industry. Breweries, wineries and process cooling is where our experience shines. Over 15 yrs working with low temp glycol systems in a variety of different applications. In our installations of mechanical plants we are regularly using a range of piping material, copper, stainless, ABS and steel. Formerly Yarra Ranges Industrial Refrigeration and now Winefrig, we pride ourselves on being a small personal company working with customers incorporating large industrial refrigeration plants. Our experience extends from working with refrigeration plants from 1.5kW to 800kW and beyond.
Working with chilled water systems is or day to day work. Breweries, wineries and process cooling plants over Victoria are our main customers. Chilled waters systems range from temperatures +25c – -54c in many different applications. Not one plant is the exact same, so it is very important to understand the whole system, before commencing work on it.
Energy efficiency is the hottest topic on the market. This means that being up to date with the latest equipment and products available is imperative. Our staff are continually attending training courses to broaden our experience and build our reputation as one of the best in chilled water.
WHAT WE CAN DO
PUMPS
We supply Pumps and VSD packages to customers for either installation by their own technicians or installed by us.
We work along side our sister company Eastern Generator Hire (EGH) There are continual needs for mobile industrial power to keep plants running. These include programmed outages or plant where there is little or poor power supply
GLYCOL SYSTEMS
We love glycol systems. No more expensive refrigeration leaks. The applications for glycol is so vast ranging from air-conditioning to low temp refrigeration. Large refrigeration plants are a thing of the past.
We have several chiller available for hire. We can supply a total mobile cooling plants including power generation. This has proved to be a real asset to keep a plants running whilst major chiller upgrades happen or incorporated in to existing plants for additional capacity during vintage in the wine industry.

DIY BREWERY/WINERY KITS
Supplying glycol kits has become very popular in the last several years with the mass roll out of craft breweries. Brewers and winemakers are often very capable. We can design a pipework layout, supply all pipework, pumps and chillers and offer free advice on installation
